Starting rate:
$17.
55 per hour.
3 pm to 11 pm ; 11 pm to 7 am available.
Job Purpose or Objective(s):
You will dispatch emergency and non-emergency calls for Tribal Police, Tribal Security and Tribal EMS.
You will report to the Public Safety Dispatch Senior Sergeant.
Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.
Primary Tasks:
You will have knowledge of personal computers and basic computer functions You will have knowledge of communications equipment and proper terminology of radio manner.
You will handle multiple tasks at one time You will answer incoming calls both on phone lines and radio communications simultaneously.
You will have knowledge of customer service techniques and concepts.
You will maintain dispatch logs of Tribal Police, Security and EMS on the assigned computer program Other responsibilities as assigned Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
Have or can maintain an OLETS certification required Be at least 21 years of age.
Display the ability to reason and react calmly and quickly in an emergency.
Evaluate situations and make decisions.
Communicate with groups and individuals both orally and in writing.
Must have knowledge of and ability to work with appropriate hardware and software.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
